Everyone needs support at times. That's why the Defense Department offers free, flexible, confidential counseling to help you manage life's bumps, address daily stress, and navigate major changes. If eligible for non-medical counseling, you will receive up to 12 sessions per issue. Sessions are available in person, by phone, live chat, or by videoContact Military OneSource for additional information using this international search.

Give an Hour provides personalized and interactive mental health products and services that are informed by both evidence and the lived experiences of those who they have been serving since 2005. They focus on catching those who may fall "through the cracks" and lifelong emotional wellness. Meeting the needs of those in the military, Veterans, and their loved ones, Give an Hour continues to work on increasing their support, resources, and programs. One of the ways they do this is by offering specific support to â€‹â€‹â€‹current or former military spouses, among all branches of service including Reserve and National Guard. You can also elevate your mental well-being with peer support. And, find them on their ​YouTube Channel​​ for additional information. â€‹

Talkspace has online couples counseling. Some of the things individuals get from couples counseling is: identifying issues with the support of an unbiased professional; gain insight into what is causing relationship distress; restore trust; rediscover strength; empathy and problem-solving; conflict resolution; and ongoing support.​​​

Equine Therapy is designed to help people who have psychological, physical, or substance abuse issues. This type of therapy helps people develop their own self-control, self-esteem, sense of responsibility and self-confidence. 

Music is also used by many to heal physically, mentally, and spiritually. The American Music Therapy Association offers a significant amount of information on music therapy including where to find a music therapist.
