Everyone needs support or someone to lean on when life isn't working.
Here, you will find several mental health services that may be available to you.
Feeling overwhelmed by fear, dread, and uneasiness... tense, restless, have a rapid heartrate, or digestive issues? It could be related to anxiety.
Are your emotions amplified - when your mood is high, do you feel amazing, quicker, funnier, smarter, like you can change the world; or, when your mood is low, do you feel like the world is on your shoulders and you are drowning? It could be symptoms of a Bipolar Disorder.
Do you feel like you can't get out of bed to start your day? Have a low mood? Do you have a loss of pleasure or interest in activities you have loved to do? Have you been feeling this way almost everyday, most of the day, for at least two weeks? You could have depression.
Feeling on edge? Having nightmares that just keep coming back? Do sudden noises make you jump? Are you always sitting facing an exit with your back up against the wall? Have you experienced severe trauma or a life-threatening event? You may have PTSD.
Experiencing a loss of touch with reality; thoughts and perceptions disturbed? Having a false beliefs despite clear or reasonable evidence it is not true? Seeing or hearing things that are not there? It could be psychosis or Schizophrenia.
People with a substance use/abuse disorder may have distorted thinking and behaviors. Are there intense craving, changes in personality, or evidence/suspicion of substance use? This could mean an individual is struggling with use/abuse.
Did you experience trauma to the head (i.e., a blow, jolt, an accident or penetrating injury)? Was there a loss of consciousness, change in a persons thoughts process, or issues with short and long-term memory? You could have suffered a TBI.
Sometimes, we need someone to listen... other times, crisis happens.
